mmmmmmmm . . . chocolate!

Filed under: vendor feature — Angie @ 10:13 pm

last week, colleen and i were lucky enough to be invited and pay a visit to the studio of nada adjadj and the home of sobelle favors.   i had the opportunity to meet nada and get my first taste of sobelle’s chocolates {yes, pun intended!} at the bridal consultant’s afternoon tea that i attended a few weekend ago.  (refer to the blog post from 01.24.2010)  so of course i jumped at the chance of taking a field trip to see where she creates.  what an absolute treat!  not only is nada one of the most lovely people i’ve been so lucky to meet, but her demeanor and personality are just as sweet and beautiful as her chocolate favors!

sobelle provides chocolate favors, personalized and decorated to fit any event.  all of the chocolates and the majority of the decor and “flair” for the favors are imported from various countries in europe, the mediterranean and the middle east.  each year, nada takes a trip across seas to see what new  products are available to her that she may use to continue providing fresh, new ideas and favors to her clients.  and, to keep things interesting for herself!

when colleen and i walked into the sobelle studio, we were amazed at everything that we saw.  hundreds of little chocolates on display, all wrapped in various pretty papers, gorgeous and colorful ribbons, shiny and sparkling gems, small ornaments and embellishments . . . every inch of table, floor and platter space we saw held a new style of favor for us to see!  all of the favors were impeccably designed and constructed, and it was so evident that nada is a perfectionist, and takes great pride in her art, and is truly following her passion with her work.

our visit to sobelle favors provided a sweet ending to our day!  thank you so much, nada, for sharing your time,  your passion and your art with us!  you are truly a joy!
